The following rules should be mandatory and non-negotiable for ALL U.S. Presidential debates:
No hot mics No notes Moderator can ask as many questions as they want, of any subject, of each candidate, until they are satisfied |

Trump should agree to what she wants notes are not going to help her.

So Harris can't debate by the same rules the men did?
If she can't handle a debate she has no business in the WH. She might be more at home on her knees or back, that could be a debate 1st. |
|
Quoted: It's really amazing how utterly lost she is when unscripted. "Any time, any place!" turned into only on ABC and only on one day real quick, now this shit. The usual DNC mouthpieces spewing that Trump is trying to back out/ running scared in 3,2... View Quote Trump should agree to no muting and train himself to zip it when needed. Let her talk herself out of a new job. She would be expecting a Trump interruption, she would be prepared for it with some quip. When she doesn't get it she will be flustered and go off script |

Trump should get to set the terms for the 2nd debate after he let POTATUS set the terms for the first debate.
|
|
i wouldn’t cave to her terms - but clearly a win win situation for her regardless of what trump decides - maybe just schedule town halls every debate night and take his message directly to the public without the bullshit - take real unscripted questions from real Americans and not the scumbag media personalities and message manipulators

As always Trump would be insane if he agrees to any of this BS and he will play right into their hands.
One leftist anchor said it will be perfect if we have open mics as Trump cannot help himself. His ego will cost us our 2nd rights and this country. |
|
I think the leader of the Free world should be able to stand up and speak on their own for as long as necessary.
Without a script, without a chair. Without prepared questions. She'll never do that. |

She is trying everything to get out of the debate.
Doesn't want to debate. She doesn't want to do any interviews. She could run and hide until election day, and the MSM would cover for her. And all the dumb little commies and N_T crowd would still vote for her. |
|
|
ok... let him agree to seated. When it's his turn to answer a question, he walks around the table and sits on the front, holding the mic.
Seated. Powa Move. election ova. |
|
she wants notes, because they're going to pass the questions to her before-hand so she can prepare her answers, and she'd like to be able to read them directly off her note pad in front of her.
just one step short of reading from a teleprompter itself. she'll get the softball questions, i'm sure they'll give Trump the difficult no-right-answer quandaries. it's a trap! unfortunately, Trump's ego won't let him decline. |
|
Kamala is an idiot and a coward. She'll either protest until the rules sway in her favor or she won't debate at all. Democrats will lap it up as a power move.

Get up there and let the moderator say questions to prompt a debate.
It’s really that simple. Everything else is bullshit. |

I liked the format of the last debate, the one agreed on for this debate
Notes, because she's an idiot |

Quoted: She wants to be able to sit closer to Trump so she can constantly point her finger in his face and shush him by saying "I'm speaking" like she did to Pence. She thinks this gives her a sense of command. Kamala Demands Seated Debate With Notes https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/259519/IMG_5654_jpeg-3305226.JPG Kamala Harris is seeking to change the terms of her ABC debate with former President Donald J. Trump, with the America First leader’s camp saying her team wanted a sit-down debate with opening statements and notes. Harris has already backed out of a debate on the less-friendly Fox News network in front of a “full arena audience.” Harris’s camp is currently quibbling over whether or not microphones should remain “hot” while the rival candidates are not speaking. Trump, who asked for hot mics in 2020, agreed to muted mics and no audience for the upcoming ABC debate and his previous CNN debate against Joe Biden—with the Democrats being the ones who put forward these demands. Now, Harris’s team is asking for mics to be left hot on ABC after all and criticizing Trump for declining to reopen the negotiations—to distract from the fact Harris has been demanding even more favorable terms than Biden. “Enough with the games. We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate. The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules,” said Jason Miller, senior adviser to President Trump. “If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem,” Miller continued. “This seems to be a pattern for the Harris campaign. They won’t allow Harris to do interviews, they won’t allow her to do press conferences, and now they want to give her a cheat-sheet for the debate. My guess is that they’re looking for a way to get out of any debate with President Trump,” he concluded.

How about a debate where the mic gets cut off when a candidate starts rambling off the topic?

Quoted: She's a former prosecutor, she won't need notes. What will trip her up is getting elitist and trying to show off her education with word salad. Notes or no notes Trump needs to get her to pontificate about something View Quote Hopefully He kind find out the things that get her fired up. |

Quoted: I don't know anyone who hasn't decided. No one is changing their minds. Your not wrong, but no one but our side cares. View Quote All the ads & campaign donations and even debates are a waste of time. Everyone already knows how they're going to vote, and nothing will change that. So let's just get it on already. |

I wouldn't be surprised if she is a chronic alcoholic who they are afraid might be drunk and wobble on stage if not seated.
I wish Trump would tweet out "Lets also add a breathalyzer test for the debate" |
|
IMO muted mics benefited Trump bigly in the last debate.
A muted mic is going to prevent Kamal from doing her "I'm speaking" line since it won't be an option. For some reason people think her line is some sort of burn but in reality it's catty nonsense. |
|
said it before, I will say it again,
Trump should ONLY agree to one debate. A 90-120 minute, townhall style, where each candidate is on stage separately, with the same audience. Unscripted, audience asks whatever questions they want. No Notes. If Cumswalla wants to sit, she can sit. Trump goes on second. |
|
Our Husky could debate better than she does, but then again winning an argument with a Husky is impossible.

Quoted: Trump should agree to what she wants notes are not going to help her. View Quote Fuck No! He already agreed to everything they wanted in the first one. He needs to assert himself a little this time around if for no other reason than to show them that they DON’T get to call all the shots anymore. A lesson that needs to be driven home daily. |

And a sworn statement from the producers and Kamala stating she should not receive any of the questions ahead of time.
