It is kind of boring frankly.

I think one reason it's boring is because it seems to be carefully written to avoid the elephant in the room -- Islam! When you tune in to watch a Crusade and end up watching a basic murder mystery/soap opera, it's....boring. They have even limited the grail quest to France now.

I am finding that no matter what show I watch these days, it's the same plots with different costumes.

This....I'll give the first season a chance, but if they're not hacking Saracens by episode 6, I won't bother with season 2, assuming there is one.
