I'm gonna say this again.  If I was in charge, the entire middle east would piss themselves down both legs everytime the word "American" was spoken when I was finished.  

Not a single stone would stand one upon the other.  I would be called a madman world around.

The last generation did that with the war on terrorism. Some terrorists did something so instead of killing them we launched a massive multi-decade, multi-nation war against countries who had basically nothing to do with them, spending trillions and directly causing our present issues. In turn, those terrorists were spawned by the generations before them doing coups and long-term occupations of other nations.

There comes a point when it's time to stop repeating our mistakes.
