Try Oscar's

The Wynn Steakhouse is legit. They have a page in their wine book with every bottle costing more than a grand.
Honest recommendation would be Andiamo Steakhouse downtown at The D. Seriously. |

Doesn't Bobby Flay have a Steakhouse in Vegas Bobby Flay'$ is not the place to get a steak. Truth.... utterly disappointing. Gordon Ramsey Steak has Kobe Rib caps and Prime Wellington. My favorite so far, but there are like 4 high-end steakhouses I haven't tried, yet. Jean Gorges is a close second. |

Not sure of the best. But I went to the Twin Creeks in the Silverton and had a pretty good steak. Eat and then walk it off in Bass Pro.

The best I've been to was Cut @ Palazzo.
However; it's not head and shoulders above the others I've been to such as Delmonico, SW, Prime, Stripsteak, and Charlie Palmer Steak. I don't think you can go wrong with any steakhouse in Vegas; just avoid the typical chain places and you'll be fine. There are tons to choose from whether you're looking for a place with great ambiance, spectacular views, a large menu, or old school flair. |

Humble brag. OP doesn't care about money.
Just kidding, but I do like your style. Will keep an eye on this thread for when I head to Vegas early August. |

Stripsteak
I just went to The Steakhouse and it sucked. I couldn't believe it. |

Lol@ the people saying Texas de Brazil or Ruth Chris. While both are damn good, we are talking about Vegas, which has some of the world's best chef's and most expensive and fanciest restaurants.

The Rainbow Club in downtown Henderson. The best ten dollar steak you'll ever eat.

I am looking for a new unique experience or at least one I cannot get elsewhere. I have eaten in a half dozen Ruth's Chris, Mortons, Texas de Brazil, etc all over the country. I either want a 1 off local place or would try a small chain but it better be top shelf.
Not a brag threat. When you have no kids to bankroll and have 2 incomes, things like vacations and meals can be a bit more of an indulgence. You cannot take it with you, so you might as well enjoy it while you are here. Besides $200 for dinner for 2 plus drinks and tip is not over the top IMHO. Looking at several online menus it appears most steaks are $50-75 each. I ate at The Steakhouse (located at Circus Circus) 10 years ago and recall it being very good but a lot has changed in the decade since I last visited Sin City. |

The best steak I ever had in Vegas was at the SW Steakhouse in the Wynn.

If you want to do the Touristy thing go to Bellagio or something.
If the Food is the priority, for outstanding Steak and Seafood, go where the rich people eat. Del Friscos. |
|
Gordon Ramsay Steak in the Paris was excellent, but I've heard others say it's not good enough for its price.

Is that indulgent enough? If you are looking for expensive go to Craftsteak at the MGM. |

Prime in Bellagio. i had there dry age bone in rib eye, worth the money damn good steak Me too, Also the seats are incredibly comfortable. Another vote for Prime; outstanding meal with excellent service and great "steakhouse" ambience. |

Never been, but I've watched TOP CHEF since day one, so I threw that out there. How was it? I went to Lawry's back in '04 and it was nice, but it's more 'prime rib.' Chris |

another vote for Vic and Anthony's in the Golden Nugget. Have never been disappointed in the food or service and they have not caused my wife an allergic reaction (olive's and olive oil). They also did not act put out when dealing with questions regarding the allergy.
