Imagine this is politically motivated.

And people lose restaurants every day. “Around 60 percent of new restaurants fail within the first year. And nearly 80 percent shutter before their fifth anniversary. Often, the No. 1 reason is simply location.”

To be honest Rifle is not a happening place… Aimless drove by it on the way to his new home, if he blinked then he missed it. I say this as someone who lived in a hotel for 6 months in Parachute just down the road.

You must not be familiar with the area. If it wasn’t for I70 it would have 12 people living there.

Easy fix. Find a new place. Lots of open space and land to build on. Or the new strip mall across the other side of the freeway.

Was it any good?

I'm usually not a big fan of gimmick resturaunts.

Though I'd go at least once if someone resurrected the Old San Francisco Steak House.   If just for the lady on the swing if nothing else.

She should buy the RMGC building in GJ.

Not the best location.  Not the worst.

Already has a gun range, member's club area, etc.

I was in there a little over a month ago. It was us, another family, and a group of about 8 guys on a Thursday night at dinner time. The burger was very good and the onion rings were the best I've had. Sad it's closing

Mr. Moderator man, my good sir, there is a parliamentary procedure for GD that requires snark and edge.

In that order, and a sufficient amount before Knighting of any sort can occur. It's in the handbook under "Misfortunes; short of death."

The landlord wouldn’t renew the lease. It is mostly a political motivated thing. Democrat are a vindictive bunch and are all about controlling others.

I thought it was pretty good. Typical small town diner place. Rifle is my hometown I’ve been there quite a few times.

I’ve got a transfer in at work to hopefully get back there soon.

The democrats are as petty as it gets. They're tantruming little children when they don't get their way. They were humiliated by the SCOTUS on not one, but four major cases. They are going to be lashing out for while. Like petty little children. Plus, CO has become California-East. This kind of behavior is to be expected.

Come to think of it, you’re right; I’ve never heard of a successful restaurant that sat on a major interstate. Must be a lack of steady supply of potential customers

The landlord stated that not renewing the lease was a moral imperative.

Ate there last year, found it on accident actually headed west on 70 to see family, food was ok, better than most small diners. I had a pretty good burger and fries, should have got the onion rings (wife did and they were great) atmosphere was great, everyone was carrying. We had a pretty good time, nice folks.

After reading the article, it sounds like the landlord is either trying to force her to buy it from him/her due to boeberts new found fame/wealth, or wants to sell in general.
