I just need to get over the guilt of selling them. Your $.02 is appreciated and enjoy keeping the memories of your grandpa alive by using those tools. Curiosity killed the cat, what were the 3 guns you really remember, you dont have to tell the story. My dad was not a handgun guy, but he wasn't against them. Do you handload for it with slightly faster powder to get a more complete burn? @towerofpower94 I don't have my notes in front of me and it varies by load, but IIRC, I get 200-300 more FPS with 240 grain bullets from my 12" rifle versus my 5.5" revolver. I don't own anything longer in .44, but I recall reading what other people were getting out of 16 inch barrels and the difference was negligible.... maybe 50 more FPS from 16" vs 12". |

@rockrash
Thanks! The flintlock is a Kibker colonial in 50 caliber. Look up Kibler Long Rifles, they are really really nice and historically correct muzzleloaders that come 98% complete with really nice wood. You only have to do a little finale finishing and barrel browning. They are as close as you can get to a truly custom hand crafted muzzleloader |

Lots of beautiful guns in this thread. The only lever-action I have is a Red Ryder bb gun i got for my boys. Always wanted a real one.

The shiny stuff on the lever and barrel is from storing inside the display/carry case by the original owner. The stuff on the action is from the factory.
