I ought to be at least somewhat good at this
 1) Libertarianism is a failed ideology. Live and let live gets us the current situation with Big Tech. It is philosophically incapable of wielding political power to its own benefit or the benefit of its adherents. While it has some good ideas that should be looked at, taken as a whole, libertarianism loses the war before it starts. It belongs in the same historical ash heap as communism and for basically the same reason: it only works if people act like they should, as opposed to how they actually act in reality. 2) the social conservatives were mostly correct. 3) conservatives should wield political power as effectively as the left. Corporations that act as agents of the state should have the bill of rights and other rights not listed enforced against them. Big tech monopolies should be broken up, and execs that continue to violate Americans’ natural rights should see hard prison time. |
