Progressive meltdown over American Flag shirt worn by White House Chief if Staff Mulvaney. Liberal Twitter Meltdown over flag shirt. It’s not the full flag, so shouldn’t be a violation of Flag Etiquette. Best Twitter quote: “This is what disrespectful white trash Americans look like,” one Twitter critic wrote. “He thinks that this offensive shirt ‘owns the Libs’. It doesn’t.” Imagine the leftist outrage if someone used the term “black trash” or “Latino trash”. They’re entirely oblivious to the fact that they’re the real racists!! As long as it was not an actual flag before it became a shirt, then there is no violation of the Flag Code. There are all kinds of clothing made to look like the American Flag.
