I don't know about all this enthusisam about DeSantis.
Sure, he has done an outstanding job as govenor of my beloved state. But, he barely prevailed against a real odd ball, "small time", Tallahasse (aka a leftist stronghold) mayor. His wife just recovered from a cancer scare and he does not need to deal with the fetid DC swampsters waging an all out "campaign of annihilation" against his family. Anybody the goofball GOP nominates should to be able to defeat China's failed and discredited sing song boy. Save the best for last when you're in a battle for survival. |

DeSantis needs to stay Governor of Florida where he can be most effective. He's the best Governor in the country right now and he's way more important than the POTUS to Floridians. Why take that and send him to Washington to get bogged down in the beltway machine where he becomes entrenched in stagnation and risk the gains made in a key electoral state? Send "someone" with a good agenda that is more expendable to DC. Maybe send DeSantis sometime in the future but only after he's done with Florida.
In other words, Florida is not done with him and you can't have him! |

So far he hasn't shown all that much interest in running far as I can tell.
What scares dem is any repub that can chop the shit out of the spending congress does. Any business or personal 1040 tax form pulling the shit our government does with regard to spending and their fake justifications for it would be put in prison until their bones were dust. Imagine another PDJT telling the gloBULLSHIT warming crowd it's fake and then vetoing all funds for any green crap. Or imagine a PDJT type getting education, energy and other bullshit dem payoff departments shut down and those people tossed from the jobs. Won't happen, as has been written here before, most Americans don't follow or care about politics until it hits them personally. Which is of course too late for them and us. |

Lefties are afraid of any conservative running. If they were not, they would not need to cheat. If Trump does not run, then Desantis will be the pick without a doubt. If Trump runs, then Desantis will either accept being nominated as VP or stay Governor of FL. It is still very much Trump's if he chooses to run for a third term.
