It's really a commentary on how stupid she thinks people are.
As if advocating for a policy that is a complete violation of the rights of people who have committed no crimes by wrapping it in "Or you don't support the police!" is going to change people's minds. "Oh, you mean some dyke statist says I have to agree with her immediately or I don't support the police? Well, I support the police so I'd better agree with her right away!" That's her estimation of the intellect of people who disagree with her. It's also a dog whistle to her "progressive" fellow travelers to try and have a point they can use to gainsay any argument made by someone who isn't brain dead. "WELL IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT THIS YOU DON'T REALLY SUPPORT POLICE!!!" is an even lamer argument than the attempt to make supporting capital punishment for violent criminals convicted of heinous crimes after due process incompatible with being against anytime, anywhere abortion. Sounds like the idea that if we just track everything all the problems will just go away. Of course this being the real world not imaginary utopia, the criminals will manage to get access to the data base to and put that knowledge to criminal use. Those without guys sitting ducks. Those with guns something to steal. Lot of more work for cops to deal with. How about something useful to track. How about actual checking if police applicants are not wanted for a crime somewhere. That shouldn't be possible at all but somehow wanted fugitives can sometimes get right through the process and hired as cops. There is no excuse for that. Someone is not doing thier job.

The real problem is the SCOTUS case Garcetti v Ceballos. She is free to go on media and spout stupid shit in uniform, but if one of her officers gave an interview and called her out for stupid reasoning and thundercunt behavior, she could fire or otherwise make the officer's life miserable and it would be legally OK. She is going to say whatever her Democrat masters tell her to and there is no counterpoint from someone in uniform with a different, and in this case, correct interpretation of the situation in regards to the Constitution.
