Its interesting because I was listening to some random radio station a while back and this was part of the larger AI discussion the panel had. It gave rise to an a pretty thought provoking discussion with my wife about AI and how much its changing the world in its short life. My question was, with the entire point of punishing the creeps who download CP being that you have to punish the purchasers to keep kids from being exploited, what do you do when AI is creating an image that has no original victim. Then if you don't punish them there will be a spike in those kinds of images being created and shared, and a vicious cycle repeats. Its a question that needs to be asked because with whatever new tech comes out, the worst instincts of people are going to come out. Then you have to ask, what about revenge porn? Whats to stop someone from getting dumped and deciding to create a video of their ex getting gangbanged and sending it to the chicks contact list. Its my biggest problem with AI. We're opening pandoras box and its a free for all, and I don't know whats worse. A free for all or immediately demanding big government regulate it. |
