The Bill of Rights is nothing but ink on parchment. It has no magical powers to curtail government. When a society no longer gives it value, it has not authority. Furthermore, the Constitution has multiple avenues for the Bill fo Rights to be amended or removed. Give it enough time, either the government will play the game and amend the Constitution or simply scrap it like it did with the Articles of Confederation. Quoted:
