The letter Gaetz read was written by the guy I have bought most of my guns from over the years. He’s been an FFL for 46 years, up until the first week of April when his FFL was revoked. The “willful violation” was an error of FDLE’s part, which the ATF IOI knew about, yet was never brought to the FFL’s attention until a regular IOI audit months later. The FFL did everything correctly, yet still was submitted for revocation by ATF IOI’s.
He has been in constant contact with Gaetz’ office since the the ATF stated his FFL was probably going to be revoked for the “willful violation.” I will say Gaetz’ office has been interested in the situation and continually communicates with him, but I’m not sure what Gaetz plans to do, if anything. I’ve contacted Gaetz’ office, as well as a lot of the business owner’s other customers, asking for Gaetz to work to cut funding to the ATF, abolish them, reinstate FFL’s, hold the ATF accountable for what they’ve done and stop the attack on law abiding gun store owners and law abiding gun owners. But again, not sure what Gaetz is going to do, if he does anything. |
