The only people that hate you more than the Dems are the Republicans.

Quoted: This is close to what I am concerned will happen. We will now have a "moderate" Republican speaker who will reach a deal to kill the impeachment inquiry and investigations. Gaetz is a fool. View Quote McCarthy just got swacked BECAUSE he was a moderate RINO. Any "moderate" aka pussy ass RINO bitch, would immediately be on the chopping block. Gaetz is a genius. If the R's want a speaker, they MUST vote in a competent conservative. |
|
If you do the deep dig, McCarthy has a silent "D" behind his name and don't forget it. He was playing back room bourr'e with the communist
|

Guess all us poor folk south of Norfolk will just keep on a working.
It’s all so tiresome! |

The republican speakers of the house, no matter how much he/she is in lock step, has been corrupted by something or someone into deal making instead of wielding the power and building a base of support within the party.
McCarthey fell victim to the corruption instead of staying true or at least being transparent and building a coalition of support to whatever he thought should be done. it happened when trump was elected. obamacare was going to be repealed, promises from the speaker and the turtle never happened. i don't even think there was a vote. the republican leadership ran scared instead of making a plan to make it happen democrat speakers understand how to use the office |

Gaetz is 100% correct regarding single issue bills and the 72 hour rule.

fuck Mccarthy the swamp creature...I don't like how it was done, but needed doing
if Gaetz is such a dick and so wrong, why did 216 congress creatures vote to kick mccarthy to the curb? |

Gaetz did something principle related, vs. doing something "politicky".
Playing politics only gets a big Dem cock shoved up our ass every fucking time. When was the last time the Democrats came to the table with their hat in their hand and gave up big time shit to us, in return for "keeping the government running" or some little bullshit pet cause of theirs? Hint: MOTHERFUCKING NEVER. Buy giving in to the Dems over and over, we are only slowing the inevitable complete takeover. I say let's fucking get it done. Then we'll see how the people really like it. You could literally swap McCarthy and Pence and nobody would even fucking notice the difference if you didn't look at their face very closely. |

No govt business of mention will get done for a while. That’s good for the people.
When it resumes, it’s beyond redemption anyway. |

Quoted: This is close to what I am concerned will happen. We will now have a "moderate" Republican speaker who will reach a deal to kill the impeachment inquiry and investigations. Gaetz is a fool. View Quote He was never going to be impeached. At best they would have made a deal with Biden to shutdown the impeachment. Whatever they got in return would have enriched them |
|
Quoted: He rage-grenaded a machine that he quite justifiably viewed as beyond broken and corrupt. Works for me. View Quote Same here. We can't unite to force change, the government and AI/surveillance machine would shut it down before it even got organized. So burn it down politically, let the Left destroy it, then ride public sentiment back into power later with a shit ton of reforms is really the only path left for us. |

Gaetz is THE MAN.
deep state be like: nah Gaetz be like: brah mccarthy out! Gaetz 4 eva! LoL! |
|
Quoted: He's a man who is upset with the status quo as many of us are. View Quote Lol, I wouldn't go that far. These dudes all go out to lunch together and have old person orgies together, and then come to work and put on their angry face. McCarthy is not your friend, but neither is Gaetz. You can get a pretty good read on all of them when you watch them interview in more relaxed atmospheres. |

Lmao after what 15 votes to get the speakership he didn't last a year.
Guess actions have consequences fucker |

Guys, with all the backstabbing of Trump, you have to figure that folks are going to go after another fire brand like Gaetz. These people are compromisers. That's what they do.

McCarthy is a California "R" who broke his promises and furthered democrat agendas. It was time for him to go.
Not saying Gaetz is not without his flaws, but I'm not upset by this move. |
|
Part of the deal with voting mccarthy in was that he'd get kicked out if he fucked around. Then he fucked around. Gaetz was willing to call him out. We could use more accountability in congress

Quoted: Part of the deal with voting mccarthy in was that he'd get kicked out if he fucked around. Then he fucked around. Gaetz was willing to call him out. We could use more accountability in congress View Quote Yup. As hard as it was for him to get in, one would think he’d pay attention to the terms of the deal he made. He ignored the Republicans who were screaming for a break from the status quo, and what happened today is the result. What happens next? I hope Gaetz has some kind of plan. |

Quoted: Quoted: The vast majority of Republicans voted against it. All of the Dems voted for it. So there is just 8 people in the Republican party that aren't RINOs? Yeah but I keep seeing threads that talk about who to vote for in the upcoming election and its always "you better vote for the Republican candidate". That's a self defeating strategy |
|
Quoted: Just wait until a few ‘moderate’ republicans team up with the democrats to put a D in charge because the business of the country has to move on. Then Gaetz can take credit for it. View Quote That would represent a further, implicit admission that the R party is the complicit D whore that most already know it to be. I have no illusions that Gaetz is a saint, but this needs to happen because the same old business as usual must stop. No more omnibus spending bills. No more back room deals. Send the "esteemed" geriatric players to the retirement home or the gallows (preferably the latter). |
