Quoted: Quoted: I take my two dogs for a special treat which is now $10.19 as of today. Ten piece nugget and two cheeseburgers... You feed your dogs that junk?!? Cat poop, rotted ''whatever the hell it was,'' you name it, dogs have the ability to munch on truly nasty stuff including the clown. |

Sheetz makes better food for half the cost to consumer while paying higher wages.

Our go to meal after football practice in high school (2002) was Wendy's 2 junior Bacon cheeseburgers, 2 5 piece nuggets. $4

The last time I walked into a Micky d was about twelve years ago.
The food was horrible and tasted like cardboard. If they charged a dollar a quarter pounder wit I still wouldn't go in there. Don't really know what all the contraversy is all about? They suck. Their employees suck. Their food sucks. Their woke ass political standing sucks. End of the story. |

F mcds.
But also dont buy the fucking combo. You don't need a soda and fries fatass. In n out double double animal style, cup of water or already have my arnold palmer from home under $5. |

Growing up they ran a deal for 10 hamburgers for a dollar occasionally.
My mom would circle the drive thru (limit 10) and get 3 or 4 dollars worth. She’d freeze them and we’d reheat and have leftovers for weeks. Yeah we were poor. |

Only time we go there is breakfast. Switched to Carl's Jr. breakfast burger is damn good.

Why anybody would go there is beyond me. Christ, it's not even real food.

Remember when the 'Big Mac' 1st came out, .45.....used ta take my allowance(5 bux at time) buy 2, and have enuff left to walk block down, and accross street to bait shop, and buy a Arbogast topwater bait, and still have change from that... |

every other aspect of the economy has priced in Biden's inflation into its prices, why do we expect fast food wouldn't also?

How people continue to pay outrageous prices for dog shit food is something I'll never understand.

I get mcdonald's about once a week when I feel like grabbing something quick and working through my lunch. I can tell you the last time I paid more that $5.50 for it. Two weeks ago was the 4 for $5 deal, and this week was a free 10 piece nugget if you spend three dollars. Got a large fry and a 10 piece for around 3.50. If you are spending 16 bucks on fast food, then you are a dumbass.

I was doing a little road trip last week and wanted some fries to nibble on while driving.
Paid $3.76 plus tax for a medium fry. |

I'm not using some fucking app to order food. I don't regularly eat fast food.
I showed up to the McDs and it was $3 for two chicken sandwiches. Not bad. Still doesn't hold a candle to my girl, Wendy. |

It's gotten ridiculous and the food is so bad now.
We have a thing at work among ourselves where if we're over an hour late we buy biscuits and everyone always gets McDonald's sausage biscuits. Bread and a thin slice of sausage. When I got it about 9 months ago 12 of those cost 32 bucks and they wanted me to pay for condiments |

View Quote You don't even need the app to order the food, it gives you a QR code to scan at the kiosk or a 4 digit code to enter if that's too complicated. That changes the pricing on the menu and gives you the deals. I get that you don't regularly eat it, neither do I, maybe once every couple of months I'll take my kids out because they love it but that's it. After a few trips the rewards build up and then you get even more free stuff. |

I stop in at our local Micky-D's for a quick lunch one regular hamburger, one small fry and one bottle of milk= $5.06. I always watch the totals from the car ahead of tally up. $20.00 $25.00, even $30.00 dollars Still there's no shortage of customers around here. Same way with the Burger King across the street.

Quoted: In 1997 the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder meals were $2.99. View Quote I hadn't been to a McD's in years. A couple of buddies came in from out of town, while we were driving around one wanted to stop in at one. Three of us each got a Quarter Pounder meal deal, the tab came to over $40.00. I was floored. |

Processed food-like substances, industrial seed oils, grains and sugar in everything:
That's gonna cost you more in future medical expenses and diminished life experience than anything having to do with your food budget. |

McDonalds is a career now, and not a starter job.
So now you pay career job prices. |

Quoted: America's fascination with cheap food that is bad for you is something I've never understood. And then we wonder why obesity is the norm. For under $10 I can get a burger, fries and a drink at the local family restaurant.
And it's real beef vs fast food garbage. |

View Quote Or you can spend the same amount as McD's, buy a steak and baked potato and cook it yourself. No worries about the cook getting your order wrong. But yes, the occasional meal at a nice steakhouse is a wonderful thing, and yes, it's ridiculous how close the price of a bag of shit has gotten to the price of a good meal. |

Well you know Peter and Christa need their $34 per hour salary for their burger flipping careers. Remember they chose to drop out of high school and become career leaders at Burger Co. They use the money for tattoos, orgies, drugs and STD treatments.
$22 for a meal at McDonald's |

Wife and I wanted chipotle last week. 2 bowls and a Mexican coke...no extras. $27.xx
|
|
I just went there on the way home from school to treat the kids to an ice cream. Two shakes and a large fry was $22.
I've been hearing on various business/investing shows that Mcds is making a huge profit off their higher prices and they believe they can push it even higher because demand is still there. The line for drive thru was crazy so maybe it's true. |
