Maybe she stepped on the electric pedal,  thinking it was the brake pedal!

It's being reported as .233 in other places.  Where did you get this information?

So the car was likely floating for at least a good portion that 8 minute phone call she made, talking about the water flowing in?  That seems to jive with Uncle Chet's experience with his Plaid.  They had to stuff a ton of weight into that thing to get it to go underwater.  It continued to function underwater, and as pointed out earlier, Chet later drove that car really fast on track ultimately wrecking it in addition to doing a drag and drive event with it.  If she was floating for any time at all, which the evidence seems to point out, I am 100% sure she could have rolled down a window and swam/floated to shore.  But when you're that plastered/stupid I guess things aren't so simple.

That's unfortunate.  Hope there was no foul play.  She was a beautiful woman judging by the picture alone.

There's a story circulating through the grapevine saying there was a lot of dirty stuff between her family and the CCP, and that her "accident" was some kind of tying of loose ends.  The family remaining quiet would be the price for staying alive and, thus no more "accidents".

Chao had seven female friends there.  Apparently Chao was not capable of driving safely or recognizing her condition and calling someone to come get her, but none of the seven women could tell that she was drunk and either drove her to the main house or stopped her from driving?
