Quoted: Because they control the party purse strings. The GOP isn't going to send money to someone running against an incumbant especially the senior party member in the Senate. Once they get locked into these jobs in states like KY they stay there until they die or retire. View Quote Everyone in kentucky needs to tell the party bosses they will not vote for him again. If they run him, break it off in their ass, and get someone new next election cycle. Term limits are there, and the party bosses will have to listen if they want someone in dc. |

My money says Hunter and FJB are rookies in the money game compared to McConnell. I abhor people like McConnell and their elitism. Man's never had a blister in his life. I remember meeting my old Senator years ago. Phil Graham,,he hands softer than any woman I've ever touched.

I bet he runs for another term of office.
I mean he decided to run for Minority Leader again at the age of 80. I can easily see him running for office again in 2026 at the age of 84 and he'll run again at 90. You watch, the voters of Kentucky will inexplicably vote him back into office both times as well, what's that tell you? Unfortunately, we have an electorate completely blind to age as is evidenced by the abundance of Trump supporters here. Not one Trump supporter cares that Trump is 77 years old. Most the Democrats don't give a shit that Biden is 80. You people wouldn't hire a 70 year old man to watch your kids for an evening or want one as your Uber driver, but you'll turn over your lives and fate to one as President. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so serious. I don't know what to say? I make the point over and over and nobody seems to care. I know a lot of highly intelligent men who have reached their 70's and 80's and they're not at the top of their game anymore, which is why most had the sense to retire like normal human beings. These politicians are like crack addicts for power or have done so many evil things they're afraid of living without their political power to shield them. The longer past 70 someone stays in political office the more I'm convinced they have to be horrible people. We need to amend the Constitution so that no person who has or will reach the age of 72 by the time an election is held can run for office. If you haven't made your contribution to the Republic by the time you're 72 than you missed the boat. We put a lower age limit on holding office and damn it I think it's time for an upper age limit. Those with little to no future left shouldn't be dictating the future for the rest of us. |

Man, it's just sad. The question was is he going to run for re-election in 2026.....it's 2023 and he is freezing up.

Fuckin Turtle needs help, he keeps having those TIA's or seizures...he needs to fucking retire already
BUT WHOS THAT FINE ASS MILF THAT GETS HIM? |

Mitch needs to teach me that move. If I deploy that about 2 seconds before I nut, life would be good.

It was like watching a replay of the incident that happened a couple of months ago.
1) drift to silence 2) grip podium 3) mouth clamps shut 4) eyes go dead and drift straight ahead, then to his right. It's fucking bizarre. |

This guy does similar as a prank

I'm hoping Greg wins this time.
mitch mcconnell's brain breaks but with succession music |

Looks like a TIA or absence seizure.
Either way, someone who cares needs to tell the man to retire. |

I prefer my politicians to either be on vacation or in a state of mental lock.

The RINOs will gripe about Bidens age while they allow McConnell to do this shit.

Damn, it's time to tuck Mitch in and put him to bed. People think Biden is having acuity issues? Mitch completely loses any sense of where he is or WHO he is - then goes into the brain equivalent of a kernel panic - shuts down and reboots into "Safe Mode".
It's sad to watch. It truly is time for him, Feinstein, and Biden to all pack it up and head off into the sunset. Your jobs are done. You towed your respective lines. Now please, leave with dignity. |

Hear what struck Gupta about McConnell appearing to freeze at news conference |
|
Looked sad locking up with a thousand yard stare and making Zombie chirps.

While we all shit on Mitch, let's take a moment to remember his greatest accomplishment. He kept Merrick Garland off the supreme court.
|
|
His next speech/press conference you'll see one of his aides walk out with a large cardboard key, like for a kids wind up toy, that they can stick in Mitch's back and wind him up again!!
|
|
That was sad and difficult to watch. We may all be there someday so it's always good to view these events with a tad of compassion and humanity.

Quoted: and terms limits View Quote A friend and I came up with a very doable program for politicians. And he's a democrat 1. Aged 35-65, You have to be over the age of 35, and under the age of 65 at time seated in office 2. 6 year terms, no 2nd term, no re-election unless you wait 9 years for your seat to open again. (and meet the first requirement) 3. Seats are alternated every 3 years to continue experience 4. No pension, you receive 5 years of medical and secret service protection (POTUS, VP) This would hold true for POTUS, senate and congress. |
