Doesn't have to be steel, but older O/Us will require bismuth or tungsten matrix, which is more expensive than steel. Define "a lot." Thousand bucks? Two grand? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Was thinking more in the $500 range. I don't want to drop 2k on a specialty gun, use it for one season and discover I'm not really into it. I'd rather use a cheap one and then upgrade if I like it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I mean, I don't mind paying $1+/round to shoot non-toxic through my Superposed, but I get why other people do View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I have a lot of really nice Winchester AA ammo
I feel like that's deserving of a good shotgun and spent at the trap range. |

I'd try to find a Beretta 686 Essential, should run $800ish. It's nothing fancy, but it's a solid, reliable shotgun. If it has to be cheaper, I'd buy a CZ. They're still Turkish shotguns designed by Turkish designers, but there's at least CZ customer service standing behind them. |
