I hope this goes through. I'm all for accelerationism at this point.
Link "Reps. Mike Thompson, D-California, John Larson, D-Connecticut, and Lauren Underwood, D-Illinois, have introduced the Gas Rebate Act of 2022. The bill proposed sending Americans an “energy rebate” or $100 per month with an additional $100 per dependent for the rest of 2022 in any month where the national average gas price exceeds $4 a gallon." |

Wrong. We don't have the money.
Why do people with kids get more? |
|
i dont give a shit anymore really, i'll just buy ammo with it
|
|
How about a tax credit?
F*ck. How about the administration resign in lieu of criminal charges being filed against them? |
|
No fucking way this is going to go pass.
You might see a suspension of the federal gas tax for the summer though. |

Quoted: Wrong. We don't have the money. Why do people with kids get more? View Quote I would assume the idea is that you have to take kids to school, routine doctor visits, sports, day care, etc., resulting in increased expenses. Personally, I hope the idiots who proposed this are tarred and feathered in the street outside the Capitol. |

Quoted: Wrong. We don't have the money. Why do people with kids get more? View Quote Because we have to drive more. Taking to & picking up from school, practices, games, gymnastics, horseback riding lessons etcetera. We have to pay more at the grocery store, more mouths to feed, due to higher commodity prices caused by higher fuel prices. We have to drive larger cars to fit our children in, no smart cars for us. More doctors appointments, dentist appointments, orthodontist appointments. Or because the (D) know the majority of large families are on some type of “assistance” & are attempting to buy more votes by funneling more money to their base. |

$100 a month huh.. While Im against free money.. Id hardly consider $100 a month enough to help curb the situation the govt has created themselves.. Useless fkn twunts!

That pack of fucking degenerate morons known as congress will NEVER do the necessary thing to correct our fiscal destruction.
They are desperate to run out the clock on this game of musical chairs and hope like hell that they have padded their accounts and hedged against the coming economic collapse. To admit the reality of the situation and implement austerity would mean some financial hardship, and they think this would harm their attempts at getting re-elected and they don't have their nest egg completed quite yet. Diversify your assets so that a financial collapse won't completely ruin you. I don't know how long it will take to finally implode, but it will. |

I've been expecting more bribes ahead of the midterms.
No one should be surprised by this. |

Sounds good but I'm sure there will be a threshold where those that make above poverty level incomes will be excluded like the other "free" money that was given away before. |

Why just $100 dollars a month?? That's barely going to scratch the surface for anyone out there who drives a truck or just drives to work.
I propose giving everyone $10,000 a month which is close to the salary that we are paying AOC and all the other TIT SUCKERS in Washington DC. FJB |

Haven't seen one damn penny from all this stimulus. Fuck you all!

The article in the previous thread about this said that it was a short-lived idea. It sounds like there's enough opposition to stop it.

So:
The Goverment is happy because they'll collect $200 a month per recipient/dependent in new taxes to fund the program. New Government Employees (a lot of Democrat voters) are happy because they were hired to process these stimulus funds. The Oil Companies are happy because now they'll raise the price of Gas to cover the whole $200/month plus a bit extra they can slip under the guise of 'we're just covering those taxes'. Non-Tax payers are happy because they're getting more money from the government (and extra to take little Jamie (born a boy, now transitioning to a girl) to their Psychiatrist/Gender Reassignment Surgeon appointments). Taxpayers are Fucked because they have to pay for all that crap and are only getting $100 'back'. |

Can we just get the complete collapse started and get this shit over with.....

Local story, these the type of people who will eat this up:
'I couldn't believe it': Long lines for motorists in one-day free gas giveaway in West Palm People waiting in line for HOURS for 20 bucks in free gas. Try telling those people to sweep the parking lot of that gas station for 2-3 hours for the same $20 and they’d scoff at you. |

Full steam ahead....get as much speed as you can and ram this bitch into the side of the mountain....that is their plan
