The Sulaco is my favorite based on looks alone.

One ship or class of ships that I think are underrated are the Lantean battleships from Stargate: Atlantis.

Those are neat. Unfortunately we only got to see them fully manned doing their thing once.

That one time was a heck of a thing though.

Weapons aren’t needed in Safe Space.

The really good disruptor arcs help out when you are doing the Saber Dance. Add in 44 units of power, a really good phaser armament, and 4 B type drone racks, not to mention an ADD, make for one really powerful ship.

One of my favorites when I was playing SFB

I like to think of Event Horizon as a prequel to the Warhammer 40K universe.

Reading the interviews of how they approached designing the ship/sets was pretty interesting.  Basically "how can we make this thing more gothic and extra terrifying?"  So it ended up as an evil. sharp, cross-shaped space cathedral.

It literally was. Games workshop wanted too much $ and too much creative control and the deal fell apart. They made the movie anyway and removed any trademark material

I'm partial to the Going Merry. It's more anime but still sci fi because it's alive and can fly.  Straw hat pirates assemble!

I like the imperial star destroyers.  But everyone is familiar with them

Another one of my favorites are the Vorlon ships from Babylon5 Tv shows.
They have a neat organic look to them.
And they sing to you.
