Jellico is an absolute dick, but the episodes with him are very much "Run Silent, Run Deep".  New boss is an absolute dick who fucks with everything, but he's got a good motivation to do so.

I'd hate to work with or for him, but he's a great character.

Frankly I'd put Kai Winn here as most hated, but she's a great character.

Neelix is just shit.

On second thought, the question is would you rather be on Picard's ship, where they spend most of the first season surrendering and gold shirts are the kiss of death, or on Jellico's, where you spend all your time planning for the worst so you'll probably survive?

Exactly...  Larry Linville (aka Frank Burns) was a real, honest, classically trained Shakespearean actor, who decided to get involved with Sitcoms/Comedy TV shows.
Read a bunch of those M*A*S*H websites about the characters, who they were (on scene) and who were really were (in real life).

Frank Burns/Larry Linville -- was actually greatly admired and appreciated on set.  Well liked, and everyone respected his talent.  He just had to portray a complete A-hole of a character for comedy effect.  But it soon got to be too much, and he bailed out.

Radar O'Reilly/Gary Burghoff -- was the complete opposite of Frank Burns character and/or real life persona.  The cast were trained to actually love Radar, but in real life, off the set, off camera, nobody got along with Gary Burghoff, as he was a short 5' something dickhead.  Gary Burghoff owned a large piece of land or sprawling farmland or whatever in Connecticut, but yet M*A*S*H was filmed in California.  SO he would have to fly back and forth and back and forth... and back and forth.... and it got to be too much, and he took it out on the cast and crew.

Marie was just a thief. Skyler was a manipulating cunt who should have been gutted by Tuco.

Her backstory wasn't the best part of the books, and was even less compelling on film.
That, and the actress just couldn't deliver. She was the weakest of the main cast.
