sketchy owners had him up for sale on social media for $50
looked like he'd been skinned with sheep shears, and the bastiges had him in a weedy back yard on a rope leash now he's a handsome hound and girls get weak-kneed when they see him found his original breeder - Collie gene in a Sheltie litter barks big and loud if anyone comes near the house  |

I miss my Sheltie.
That dog had one purpose and that was to make you happy. That dog never had an unhappy day in his long (16 year) life. RIP Loki. |

 Attached FileJuliette agrees with OP. She is also a rescue dog. The wife saw a post on facebook asking for someone to foster a pregnant dog that was picked up by animal control. Guess who got to deal with whelping her, and eventually 10 little poop factories. They all, mother included got adopted out. Juliette was a boomerang. She was the runt, and fell behind her siblings resulting in separating her from the rest of the litter for private feedings with her mom. She found her way back to us to be where she belongs. |
