Worked at one of the Big 3 autos. Had a management level sexual harassment seminar. When the course was over the senior executive in charge thanked the consultants who came in and we all clapped.

Later at lunch the same senior executive asks the table did you see the rack on that speaker?

And none of this woke-ness was in response to George Floyd, the protests, or even the riots/violence. People got all woke when they got tired of seven days of rioting. Just make it stop. And it stopped. And rioters learned that their problems can be solved with the application of enough violence. Bonus- they also get a sweet 75" flat screen TV.
