AR's in Russia are pretty expensive. When I was working at TGI, and we were importing Vepr rifles, we were approached about exporting Spikes Tactical rifles to Russia in 500 rifle amounts.

We left piles of M16A1s all over the globe so it's not surprising to see some found their way to the land of vodka and sodomy.
