Right, but when someone refers to a favorite Youtuber, that could mean anybody.

I follow Sage on IG, so I saw his post & remarks about the SCS.

Aaron Cowan/Sage Dynamics is the authoritative pistol RDS SME and his 2,000-round tests are considered the standard for optic durability.

He’s had a pre-production SCS for the last year and says it’s good - and it gets his coveted Duty Ready rating

I assume that’s who he meant, I could be wrong

Has anyone ever noticed a POI shift after removing an RMR and replacing the battery?

I haven't, I removed it 2 times during the time I had my 19 Gen5 MOS and never had to re-zero.

Seriously, though, the fact that it is small enough to utilize standard-height sights for co-witness is a big deal.

Meh. For slide-mounted optics, sure. That setup is on borrowed time though

So basically, to be the new America on the back of firearm optics? That would be impressive.

This issue would be moot if Trijicon put money into R&D. Blame them, don't blame the other guy for outworking them.

It's easy to figure out.  But it just makes the sight body bigger than it needs to be, adds more parts, and solves a problem than nobody seems to actually have.

RMR keeps doing it that way because it's the right way to do it.

How hard is it to figure out you shouldn't have take an optic off to change the battery.

Well I disagree, and since I'm the one spending the money they want, I'm automatically right
