I made a pledge in another thread that if LaPiere and Cox were removed from office that I would buy a life membership for myself and for one other site member that ARFCOM deemed worthy. That pledge is still in affect. I was told that my help was not needed to remove LaPiCox and that I had no need to worry about the matter. So, I am not worried. Nor am I anticipating having to pay up. View Quote @hebrew_battle_rifle I reread this and it is a pretty jerk post. I am genuinely curious if you are a member or a voting member? I am also wondering if you will let others dissuade you from making the NRA a better place with your efforts? |

View Quote The people that dissuaded me from anything NRA related are NRA leaders and their sycophant supporters. I was an NRA member for nearly 2 decades. I finally got over the battered wife syndrome and saw them for what they are. If you are old enough to remember the Reagan era and are still a staunch NRA supporter, then you are one of those sycophants. My pledge still stands. |

View Quote Not a serious question because we already know the answer. I could leave my wallet in my pocket constantly if I only donated to causes who I agreed with 100%. And I donate to all of those other listed orgs as well as being a Life Benefactor and routinely donating to the ILA. Card carrying member of those orgs. I may not agree with everything they do, but they are more with us than the people against us...and there is no shortage of those folks. Enjoy the sidelines. Wear sunscreen. |

Adam and Tim are worthy of votes. We all have to get petitions signed. We all have to vote. We all need to attend meetings when possible. Be active. If you are, thank you. If you aren't maybe consider it? How many people could you influence or get signed up? Strength in numbers. |

Ballots will be here before you know it. Remember:
vote early, vote often (but only for Tim and Adam, if want and are trying to make your votes really count) |

Is the voting before or after they change the rules to protect the good old fellas again?

Mid week bump . There are only two people to vote for in the upcoming BOD election , see sig line.

In February the NRA ballots should start going out in the monthly NRA magazine of your choice. If you are a member for 5years straight or more, or you are a Lifetime member you are eligible to vote. If you do not see a ballot in your magazine but think you are eligible call this number 800-672-3888, that is the general contact number of the NRA. Find out why you didn't get your ballot in your magazine and request one if you are eligible. If you are eligible to vote, VOTE ONLY FOR THOSE PEOPLE YOU FEEL COMPELLED TO VOTE FOR. If you fill in all 25 of your votes just because you have them, it could actually work out against your chosen candidates in the long run. You have 25 votes, you do not have to use all of them and you can't use more. For example my ballot, at this time, will only be marked @supermoose and @scdonttreadonme, or Adam Kraut and Timothy Knight. These are the only two people I am voting for, unless somebody can persuade me that somebody else needs my vote. I have only researched these two candidates and they are worthy in my book. You should research your own candidates, I would look at them first though. Resources that helped me research them were Timothy Knight and Adam Kraut But your vote belongs to you, use it wisely. Thanks for the bumps you might give this until the election takes place View Quote Who's Tim Knight and does he post here? I helped Adam get nominated; don't recall the same or similar drive for Tim, did I just miss it? |

I'm not seeing the support for Adam Kraut like I did last year. I've got four people who are going to vote for him, but last year I saw Adam featured in a lot of pro 2nd magazines. This past year not so much. After what happened last year I'm feeling we're going to get stuck with the poop end of the stick. View Quote |

I helped Adam get nominated; don't recall the same or similar drive for Tim, did I just miss it? SCDontTreadonme Tim Knight is very worthy. Just google him and Colorado recall. Does he post much? Not much I guess. Does he stay busy and do a lot?.....YEA HE DOES. They are the only two worthy of votes IN MY OPINION, your vote belongs to you. I ran petitions for both guys to get nominated, collected some signatures for them like many did, and here they are. Google will help you learn about Tim. I am hoping this isn't a post from days gone by about "If they don't post here, I ain't voting for them". Not to project that on you, but it was actually thing last go around. @Merlin |

When are the ballots supposed to come? I'm worried I need to request them somewhere as I just went life for voting rights.
