being a huge beretta fan I am. I am going to have to say this is fake. If they did make a striker fired pistol they would be smart to make it compatible with 92 mags. The PX4 doesn't use 92 mags... and their sales suffered. I would venture to say 92 mags are the most commercially available mags out there. They would sell alot more guns if they did this I'd say you're right. The CZ P07 can use CZ 75 mags, so I have a P07. The PX4 can not use Beretta 92 mags, so I don't own a PX4. Striker fired - check Polymer frame - check Squared trigger guard - check 9 and .40 - check "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" Sam Colt understood this. Smith & Wesson got sued because of it. If you want a Glock, get a Glock for crying out loud. View Quote Glock didn't pioneer any of those things, and unless you're John Moses Browning, chances are everything you do will be a small improvement on existing ideas. |

Those slide "serrations", if you can call them that, look retarded.

I own the Storm because it's unique and interesting. This is just like every other pin gun.

Are you yankin' our chains 1911xdm? I've got a P-07 but do not own a 92, so I can not independently test this..

I think that was a wise move, designing a gun around a proven, easily available, inexpensive magazine. Some companies try and reinvent the wheel or lock the buyers of their guns into buying mags from them (possibly at a higher price.) Which is what killed that Ruger P Series Carbines. They invented a carbine that miiiight have found some favor in the days before AR were issued for regular patrol use, then hamstrung it by designing the gun to use Ruger P series Pistol Mags... I can remember people thinking/writing/talking about it as a neat concept, except for the fact it used Ruger pistol mags. Lots of people wanted Ruger to make them compatible with either Beretta Mags, Sig Mags, or Glock mags but Ruger rode that bitch in the dust bin of gun history with the Ruger pistol mags. |

I don't care how it looks. I am looking forward to seeing how it shoots.

Sure does. The VP9 doesn't look too bad. I don't think Glocks are nice looking, but they aren't too bad looking either. At least not compared to stuff like this new Beretta. |

A P99, PPQ, and Glock got together and had an orgy. View Quote Nope... This thing has more ugly than all three of those put together... You could add Hi-Point and still wouldn't equal the ugly in this design. Did they hire engineers from a smashed asshole factory? Damn, that gun is ugly. |

I don't buy polymer guns for their sex appeal. I'm intrigued... Hopefully it doesn't have an awful trigger

I don't want that. I want a single stack, SAO 92 compact. Is that too much to ask?

30 years later Berettas most advanced pistol is still a Glock. That's how revolutionary Glocks were.

If Beretta made a 1911, I'd all over it like a teenage boy on a set of titties. That thing though, just, no.

Need a tool to disassemble..... Keeping my Glocks. View Quote I think it's like the M&P where they tell you to pull down the sear lever with the grip tool for disassembly. In reality, all you have to do is pull the trigger. I'd be really surprised if the beretta is any different. |

They should stick to making the 92. Everything since has been ass an improvement. fify Wat. You're saying the pistols Beretta have made since the 92 are BETTER than the 92? Because that's not what I'm saying here. |

I can't wait to buy one, after CDNN has them in the $300 range.

I don't care how it looks. I am looking forward to seeing how it shoots. View Quote Now, now, now, let's not go getting wound up over inconsequential details like "how it shoots". What's really important is how it's going to look with a large and expensive assortment of Tier-1 fashion accessories. |
