sure but sig has been a shitshow for the last 25yrs. you can pick up any glock anywhere in the world and it will blast and blast. not to mention, 2 finger grips with 35k psi ammo are worthless. cant hit shit with them. seriously, everything sig has made since the 226 has been complete shit. I got my first chance to handle these today. I'm mostly indifferent. The 43X is significantly larger than the P365. It compares okay to the Shield, though. It will probably be a decent CC option for some people depending upon their preferences. I find the 48 to be more interesting in an academic sort of way, but I wouldn't expect it to sell as well unless it turns into something of a ban state service gun. The only thing that baffles me about these is the finish. Why the hell did they choose a silver finish for CC guns? View Quote |

I wasn't wild about the silver slide when I saw it in pictures but after buying a 48, it's growing on me. It looks better in person as it's more of a flat grey color. I really wish Glock would bring back the frying pan finish as their standard coating. Best finish ever.

I saw someone hypothesize that it had something to do with import rules, no idea how accurate that is. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Whoever thinks it has to do with import rules is wrong. The G43 is smaller than both the G43X and G48, meaning they have fewer points awarded to them, but are still imported just fine. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

so glock has gone from copying HK to copying colt and smith and wesson. it would be nice if they got original and did away with that horrendous grip angle and under cut that trigger guard. but, only the millions have been asking for that since the 90's

With the 12rd mag most adults can get a full grip on the P365 and it's still shorter than the Glock 43X/Glock 48. The only things wrong with the P365 is where it's parts are made and lack of pre-release testing. The concept is excellent. The Glock 43X/48 having such limited capacity for no good reason is a critical flaw. |

Explain the Glock 26 then, which has less room for your fingers than the P365. Oddly, I shoot pretty good with my G26. Ok, definitely going to pick up a 48 after seeing pics. Stupid me spent my gun budget though for the next few months buying a different handgun I didn't need
|

At least this will motivate SIG to release a P365X. They could make the grip an inch longer and have a P365 variant the exact same size as the Glock 43X and it will hold 15 rounds.

Has anyone tried the TangoDown/Vickers mag release for the 43 in the 43X/48 frame. Just looking, it appears that it won't be quite wide enough but I'd like to know for sure.

Comparing my G43 and my new G48...
Attached File Attached File Attached File And, finally, my homemade G43X and G43L... Attached File I really like the G43X and G48 a lot more than either the G43 or G43L. The G43 grip has always been too small for me and with the G48 slide on it, it feels really unbalanced (it might feel different without the TLR-6 and with a full magazine, though). The G43X/G48 frame, however, fills my hand well and both slides feel great on it. |

I just grabbed a 43x. Have not shot but love how it points and the weight.
