You're a felon for having it. A felon for destroying it.
Basically, you're a felon. When in the course of events... |
|
I assume that anyone that lives in that god-forsaken shit heap of a state actively hates themselves. I used to have to go there for business 15 years ago and I hated every moment of time spent there. I do not expect it's improved with age. God what a depressing place to live.

Meh, it was already illegal to finish an 80% lower in NJ. This doesn't change much (in regards to building guns).
The old guns being banned because of not having SN's is weird tho. |

New Jersey is probably the last state in the union I would ever set foot in.
|

Either this law is good and must be enforced, or it's stupid and must be thrown out.

Most people from NJ are shit human beings.
Stupid, rude, and gross. And they're proud of it. |

View Quote I would guess that that applies to damn near every state near NJ. Most of the people up there are not happy, want you to be unhappy, don’t like any type of freedom or personal responsibility, and can’t do anything without the government. Seems most of the reasons people would stay in an environment like that is for “family” and can’t leave. Maybe a job. It would certainly suck to be in their shoes. We know that there are people there that are like normal people that value freedom, but not leaving. Fucking sad. And I doubt Georgia will be much better in the near future. |

Aren't the new owners of Barrett based in NJ? Proud Australians, they value freedom.

View Quote I’m hesitant about criticizing another law enforcement agency, but it seems these guys are the most zealous and take personal enjoyment in restricting your freedoms. Of course, all the laws are created by the lawfully elected officials of NJ. By NJ voters. Massachusetts is probably right up there with them. |
|
Of course, some guns are obviously made by U.S. licensed manufacturers, such as Smith & Wesson, Colt, Ruger, Winchester, Remington, etc. View Quote Except that isn't fully true either, at least how I read it. Colt and many other manufacturers made guns with serial numbers on them long before there was ever "licensed firearms manufacturers." Those serial numbers would, therefore, not be marked by a US licensed manufacturer and the gun would be verboten... |
|
|
Um, what about firearms made before the GCA?
Dumb laws keep getting dumber. |

View Quote You're a Daisy if you do..... Banning BB guns and slingshots is a bit on the extreme side....even if you destroy them your still a felon. It's going to be a big club in NJ, and most won't want to be in it...... |
|
So if I understand this right you were right under the letter of the law at the time of manufacture, now we have changed the letter of the law post facto and no matter what, your fuct?
|
|
You’re a felon for having a slingshot or BB gun in nj?
F off. What part of these things are firearms? |
|
Concerted state level gun control push this year. Wonder who greenlit it and why.
|
|
Wanna bet felons will still carry 80% Glocks with wish switches and they'll get let out by liberal DA's.
This isn't about gun control. It's about anarcho tyranny. |

North Jersey (basically NYC) population along with Trenton and Camden ruin the state's politics. Nothing short of a nuke... multiple nukes... will ever fix that... but huge swaths of the state are amazingly beautiful and wild and have very normal, great people living there who despite the insanely high taxes and retarded politivians, won't leave NJ for the same reason nobody else will. It's home. Pretty much all of South Jersey is farmland, small towns, and beach towns. Hunting and fishing opportunities are exceptional. I've traveled extensively throughout the entire US and I can easily say I'd rather live in South Jersey than a whole bunch of other states. |

I don't know why this is news?
Everything they banned by passing that law was already banned. Sling shots were already illegal. BB guns were already classified as firearms and required an FID to buy a rifle and a pistol purchasers permit for a handgun. So anyone willing to file the paperwork to ask permission to purchase a rifle or handgun was just going to buy a real gun. Ergo...BB guns were banned. Black powder were again already classified as firearms and you once again had to ask permission to buy them; so they were banned because again, anyone who was going the distance to ask the kings men for permission was likely going to buy an actual serialized firearm. 3d printing and building firearms from 80%s was already banned prior to that law because you needed to hold a manufacturers license anyway. No one should be surprised by this. Fuck nj. And honestly at this point, who the fuck cares now? Seriously, there's probably hundreds of thousands of Garands in the state. Are they going to arrest everyone with a Garand? The fucking law is unenforceable. Fuck them. |

NJ has been enacting "stupid" laws since forever, you do something stupid, they throw all the books at you.
Just a few more years, I'm outta here not because of the gun laws, not because of the many assholes that live here, not because of the congestion of people, I am used to all that, it's the damn taxes ! |
