Looks like its made out of a PVC pipe fitting.

I like the larger objective on the MRO versus the T2. I would consider buying it, as I don't have a small RDS.  I just hope it's not ONE BILLION DOLLARS.

Price will be the deciding factor. If they target the PRO they will take over the market.

I still like it and would buy it if it were cheaper than a T1.

Saw $500 earlier today on Facebook.

According to this dealer on "the other site", $500 and will be selling later this month

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:aEdTHPiYzwIJ:www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php%3F172415-Trijicon-s-new-MRO!+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

But I'm only able to view that cached page, I'm not a member there, so I don't know if he pulled his post off and maybe Trijicon reconsidered something like date or price.

One lens cap at best.  And things are most likely to brush against it from the side which is more likely to spin that rheostat than one mounted against the side.

Just my opinion, but for a CQB sight 1 click to turn it off from any setting makes it more likely to mind fuck you by surprise when you expect a dot to be "in there somewhere" when a threat materializes.  Reorienting your brain to a ghost ring or instinctive technique could cost threat focus and a fatal second when you have to recognize there is no dot first.

It appears that the secondary off is only between settings 2 and 3 and not between every setting.

May have to put my RDS purchase plans on hold until I can check one of these out.

Neat. I'll stick with Aimpoint though. But Trijicon makes good stuff.

$500 retail and I believe that I'm in.  I need an optic for a recent build, and this would do nicely.

I don't believe it. But I would be in for 5 bills also.

Looks really nice.  I think I prefer the M2 size to the T1.  I don't need the compactness and prefer the larger objective.

... Would it be reasonable to mount one on an 870?

NO WAY it is going to go for 500 bucks, but if it does, I will be buying a few.

Noted, but I'd still rather "off" be far away from an often used setting, especially on an "on all the time" type optic.  I do like the claimed reduced forward emissions (that's what she said) and AR glass though.

Damn, I like it a lot from what I've seen here.

I've narrowed my optics to TA31 & Ta11 ACOGs and Ampoint Comp M3s.

Going whole Trijicon wouldn't bother me at all.
I am very impressed with both (hence my owning them) but I'd give a nod to Trijicon.

Looks good.  Wonder what battery life is like.  Although they need to make a fiber optic/tritium version, then I'd really be interested.
5 years is what's on the spec sheet, rumor has it $500ish is the msrp, but that seems low for retail, street price maybe.

I'd buy one at $500.

I'm in at $500.

I've even had the SRS in my online cart a few times, just can't stomach that much $$ for an RDS.

Same here, it may beat spending $800 on a T-2.  I like it over my T-1, but at the price I am not in a rush to change it out.

I would have guessed $500 as well, but then I saw "2 night vision settings" and at that point you might as well multiply by 1.75x.

The more I think about it and research it, there's no way this will be less than a $800 MSRP, unless Trijicon is planing on making a big change on how they price there products.

looks like trijicon is a few years late & will most likely be a few hundred over the market.

I love trijicon great pistol night sights the ACOG is the Huey of rifle optics the RMR is nice but not $550 nic ethe accupoints are great but  I AM GUESSING  these will have to be 600ish to compete with proven designs like the t1 or h1 will trijicon let that happen we'll see
