I went to SF and stayed with my son in the Sunset Beach area. He took me to all his favorite bars and places to eat. I was there three days and saw a few homeless but no more than most big cities. I had a great time but it was very expensive.
My son has since moved to Colorado since after living in SF for four years he was ready to get out.

We stayed at Hilton Union Square last week. Kept the wife (first trip to CA) pretty sheltered from the shitshow as best I could. She had a blast. On the morning drive back to SFO, took her through the homeless camps on the sides of the road so she could see the real SanFran. She still is in shock with what she saw

I hadn't heard that but I have heard that VMware is discussing it. There are some nice things in SF but the constantly being on guard to not step in shit or have a confrontation with a homeless junkie is super tiring.
