Crews from Huntsville and Decatur
can't work in New Jersey. People will just sit in the dark until the union workers are available. http://www.waff.com/story/19981857/some-nonunion-ala-crews-turned-away-from-sandy-recovery |

As a non-covered employee of the company they turned away, let me be one of many to say "Enjoy the dark, Dipshits".
|

I wonder if some of the lines at fuel stations are caused by the stupid law that won't allow you to pump your own gas. In most photos I only see one pump in use per attendant. I grew up in NJ and remember one attendant could jockey like 4 pumps at a time.

This situation deserves a full page ad in the NYT so people will truly realize just how whacked out the unions have become.
|
|
Well that sucks. Hopefully the affected folks take this knowledge away with them once it's all over.
|
|
The recovery in that area is going to take 5 times longer than it needs to take at least. Dumb.

Because the AL utility employees are not union members? WTF? Have fun in the dark you dumb asses...... **just watched this on the local news, will provide a link when I find one** TODAY just did a hit piece on unlicensed tree removal companies. That place is a cluster fuck. |
|
You don't think any of that federal disaster money will go to non-union workers, do you?
|
|
This will work out in our favor in the long term. When it's made very clear to those who had to sit in the dark and wait for so long,
that their wait was so long because non-union workers from other states who came to help were not permitted to help simply because they were not part of the corrupt union, it will turn some of them against union monopoly rules. CJ |

San Antonio sent 26 trucks and crews. I heard they were re-routed mid trip. I wonder if this is the reason.

I am sick of hearing the clip with the lady crying "Where is the government? We need help". Deadliest words/thought process. This event has FINALLY got my wife to agree to some modest prepping. It's for the children. ![]() |

Derp. I find it amazing that NY accepted the workers and NJ did not. I hope Christie slaps them around for turning them away. If he doesn't it just proves that he is liberal republican like I've thought.

The NE will be more fucked a year from now than Japan was after that tsunami. ![]() |

This just in, the purpose of a cartel is to increase the profit of members of the cartel. In a related story, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

LOL. This is great. Sad thing is in a year most people won't remember this is the reason they were without power for a long period of time. What ever happened to working together for a common good...sheez.

They should drive around the area with large signs on their trucks informing everyone of this

Cool. Let 'em sit in the dark then. FPNI. eta: One of my clients sent crews up, they turned around in VA and came back home. *shrugs* Light a candle, morons. |
|
The sad part is they won't care.
Unionist are like Democrats. They believe what they want and don't let facts get in the way. Enjoy the dark... |
|
I live in decatur alabama and have friends and family that work for Decatur Utilities. Its a hot story around here right now. many are contacting Fox, CNN, ABC and NBC to get the word out.

Make sure all those without power know to thank the Unions. AFP, Heritage, or one of the other big conservative groups should do a mailer in a month or two about this. |

Another case of the rescuers told to "stand down". Seems to be a trend with the leadership of a certain party. |

they get everything they deserve.
keep on voting for democrats you morons, enjoy the dark. |

An unlicensed Mennonite guy took down a storm damaged tree (and 2 nearby by request) for me yesterday. With just his Chevy a rope and a chainsaw. All for $500 in less than 4 hours |

If I were one of those utilities that got denied, I'd send another truck full of generators and fuel up there, and tell my crews to park their trucks in a very highly visible area, fire up the generator, plug in some coffee makers and TV's, and sit back in some lawn chairs and watch the football games this weekend. I'd make sure they had all the comforts of home, and let the people know it.

It will take longer, cost a helluva lot more, and people will needlessly suffer longer then they needed too......
Yep, that's the Unions at work.

Unionlavokia one of the first balken states in north america.
