Nearly every picture in this thread is triggering memories of commercials and the associated songs, and somehow I remember nearly every word.

My apologies for attempting to hijack this thread but since people are remembering the great 80's I figured this was as good a place as any. For a couple years I have been looking for a book I had as a child. I remember it being a rabbit who explored the Incan ruins. I cannot recall the plot and if the story was just placed in that setting or if it explained the history of the Inca. I can just remember the rabbit being amongst stone walls like in Machu Pichu and pictures of sun Gods or relics. Any help would be appreciated.

My friend and I actually both had one of the flying toys you would wear on your hand like a puppet. Kind of a unique toy. https://pm1.narvii.com/6772/83b3be18621888769ed828f6a6dc94e7d12a99b1v2_hq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/zNgVjXt.jpg View Quote |

I got this in '64. My sisters were all live targets. Mysteriously, it was ran over by my mother on the second day after someone "accidentally" left it behind her car. Which was weird because it was next to my bed when I went to sleep.

Back in the 70's my neighbor had black plastic toy pneumatic 2/3rd or 1/2 scale Super Bazooka. It had a red plastic handle where the shoulder brace normally is, that you pumped up several times then pulled the trigger. I guess there was some kind of piston inside that hit a plastic disc to make the loud Boom noise, never seen one anywhere else since then.
Edit: This "might" be it, 1964 Mattel Agent Zero Sonic Blaster, but I don't remember the red pump handle being on top, $250 working condition: Edit2: Probably banned because it perforated young ear drums, here we have the Young Snake Pliskin in the original commercial: Zero-M Sonic Blaster 1960s toy commercial Attached File |

My absolute favorite toy ever was a Geoffrey Giraffe's play house. It was a gift from Santa in 88 or 87. I was ecstatic about having my own "house" in our house. In reality it was a thick plastic tarp over a PVC frame with some toys-r-us house graphics, but it was a mansion to me. That was the absolute best Christmas morning ever followed by the worst day to date. My mother decided that it was too big for the 2 bedroom townhome and it was taken back the next day. Quite the hangover from an epic high. I have 1 pictures of me hanging out of the flap window, hight of my zenith. I have scoured the internet looking for another, though I am sure they have been lost to time.
