If the echotexture is different, we would call it heterogeneous. Various things can make the appearance heterogeneous. The one we worry most about would be cancer, but this is usually a very easily identifiable spot, and if they're not saying you have a heterogeneous mass, then I wouldn't be concerned about that. Some guys who have chronic ball pain end up having blood flow differences which can cause the heterogeneity. Unfortunately ball pain is really, really hard to treat and is frustrating for the patient as well as the urologist. Have they put a camera in you or scanned your bladder to see if you empty your bladder well? So, IMO should I ride this out or see another urologist for the tests you described? |

OP I have a question and have been meaning to visit a dr but not sure I should. 48 years old, mild hypertension controlled by medication. Low T also controlled by medication. Last 5 months had a sudden increase in needing to go to the bathroom as night. I drink a shit ton of water a day but usually sleeping through the night. Now I'm up 2-3 times sometimes if I drink my normal amount. Also noticing a distinct lack of....ah, velocity when ejaculating. Normal old man stuff or should I worried? No prostate cancer in the family I'm aware of.... Paternal grandfather died of liver cirrhosis and maternal died of lymphatic cancer |

For me the sweet spot was splitting my normal 2 week dose in half and injecting every week. Some people do subQ daily or every 3 days. That's too much hassle for me. I'm 100% sure I'll never be going back looking for a reversal. I'm sure urologists hear this all the time, but seriously. If my family died in a horrific accident leaving me alone, and then a few years down the road I met an amazing hottie who was ten years younger, loved shooting, was compatible in every way, and for some reason was really into balding doughy guys BUT wanted children, I'd tell her, "It was really nice to meet you." |
