I ain’t paying that!” Throw some numbers at me and I'll see what his face looks like when I tell him. I have no idea what they're going for these days. I don’t know off the top of my head, but I wouldn’t bat an eye at $2500. That’s what we paid for our pup. Different breeds and breeders can mean very different price tags. Simo was only $1200. Richard was $1500. Our Boerboel will probably be around $2500. Mini bulls and Black Russian Terriers are often around $3500, and Dobermans start around $2500 and go up. Once upon a time, the Boxer Club of America prohibited breeders from charging anything at all for white Boxers they produced. So you could get a well bred white Boxer for free. Pretty sure that policy has changed, but many reputable Boxer breeders still don’t charge for white puppies. |

Quoted: They mentioned they would "refund the deductible once they verified the other driver's benefits." Going off how they notified me of verifying the other driver's benefits like they promised they'd do, I was far better off waiting to let them verify benefits and then get my car serviced. I'd have never gotten that $500 back. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Well, insurance is already jerking me around. Supposed to take my car in to get repaired today, but insurance never bothered to let me know they had verified the other driver's coverage so I could confirm my appointment and my rental car reservation. I called them today to double check, and they said it had been verified a week ago. They had no idea why the adjuster didn't let me know, but I was fine to proceed with repairs at no cost to me. Great! Call to confirm appointment, gtg. Rental car supposed to meet me there to pick me up. Some little instinct told me to call to confirm this. No answer at rental place. Well, says I, I guess I should swing by on the way to drop my car off. Just in case. Since they're not answering their phone. Come to find out, it was a tentative reservation awaiting confirmation and there wasn't a car available today. If they'd had at least 24-48 hours notice, they could have had one, but not day of. But the insurance didn't give me any heads up. Which they said they would do when they confirmed benefits. Which they did a week ago. I see I'm not the only one with car insurance issues. SF? Or who? You can text if you'd like USAA. Both the other driver and us, in fact. Would have figured that would make things a little easier, but I guess shitbirds gonna shitbird. Damn I keep hearing more and more issues with USAA. Fortunately, I have always had great service from them. We have great service when we're having to make a claim using our own policy. I could have run this under our policy and not incurred any rate raise penalty, but I would have been out a $500 deductible on an accident that wasn't my fault. They mentioned they would "refund the deductible once they verified the other driver's benefits." Going off how they notified me of verifying the other driver's benefits like they promised they'd do, I was far better off waiting to let them verify benefits and then get my car serviced. Quoted: So the hood over my grill stopped working a few weeks ago, got a guy out to troubleshoot it as I couldn't figure out where it was getting power from...... He spent a couple of hours tearing stuff apart and trying to figure out the problem..... All he found was that it was powered by yellow romex and there was a motion light nearby (that wasn't working) that had white romex going into and yellow coming out..... The only other electrical things near the motion light were patio lights (working), outlets near the grill (working) and an outlet high up for Christmas lights..... I put two and two together and reset the gfci under the stairs that controls the Christmas lights and now the grill hood works again! View Quote Sounds like date night wearing nomex? |
