Quoted: It's a long story. I applied once and didn't meet the minimum qualifications so my boss pulled it down to have HR rewrite it. Then HR (fucktards) said no so boss reposted it and said he'd help me dispute the denial. That didn't work even though I appealed three times. So he didn't fill the job and let it expire and kept asking HR to rewrite it. I believe they finally agreed and have been told to start watching the careers page again. Quoted: The mashing step is similar. Grains + hot water at a specified temp (varies based on type of grains and the flavors you are looking to create) creates a sugar rich liquid (referred to as wort) in the brewing world. Distillers will typically ferment after this step and then distill once fermentation is complete. Brewing you take the wort from the mash and then proceed to boil. During the boil you add hops (or other adjuncts depending on beer style) then cool the wort, put into a fermentor and pitch yeast. Fermentation can take anywhere from a couple days to months depending on beer style, starting sugar content and desired ABV Hell, sour beers can take years. Glad you enjoy it. I’d have to watch a yt video. Were your first batches terrible?? |

Quoted: Quoted: False. Only law enforcement should carry chambered. Its dangerous and unnecessary. And i will say. If you cant chamber a round in time you should practice more or not carry. If your aware enough to be carrying, you should be aware enough to know when you may need it. For the record. I am pro gun and 2nd amendment rights. I support the second amendment but I was told that I, someone with zero criminal record, not even a traffic violation, needs a psych eval to own guns. Just owning one makes me more of a liability to peoples wellbeing that someone who doesn’t. |

Quoted: Quoted: I only wish that their mashed potato's had gravy. I mean, technically, if the potatoes had gravy, it would then be the potato’s gravy, possessive, correct?? |

Quoted: Quoted: I've been doing paperwork (not my job) at work about 80% of the time since mid December. I'm so over this shit. Motivation has gone downhill for a few months. Supposed to be a group effort with all 10 of us working on them. I think just me and one other guy are. Better put in for another vacation As soon as I got home from the last one I requested another week off in October for our Florida trip |

Quoted: Wow. That sounds pretty involved. Glad you enjoy it. I’d have to watch a yt video. Were your first batches terrible?? View Quote First few were extract beer. Much easier to do. you take malt extract syrup (the result of the mash thats been reduced to syrup, available from most home brew stores) add it to boiling water and add your hops. Ferment and get beer. If you can make kraft mac and cheese you can make extract beer. But yeah, first batch was terrible and under fermented. came out about 2% abv and was sweet as soda pop All grain brewing (what i do) sounds more complicated than it is Creating recipes is the harder part. |
