Wish I could get you on here. We need good guys with the work we have, but it's all ibew work.
Although, we did sneak my kid onto a project going through August. |

Quoted: I remember you saying that. I didn't realize you were still sitting. That sucks. Sorry, man. View Quote They gave me a sack of cash, I'm doing ok. Did a lot of looking at bills and stuff. Changed auto and homeowner's insurance, garbage company, internet provider, not driving nearly as much as before. Wodstock's working from home, so that's saving money, too. Even with buying the travel trailer, we're still paying less for everything. I've got 4 leads kinda simmering right now, a lot of companies are really slow to hire in NYS, always have been. There are jobs around here, but in that $13-17/hr area, and not in the areas I'm interested in. But, the RV dealer we got our TT from is looking for a driver. I may ask them what that entails, might be kinda fun, even part time. I was denied unemp due to the sack of cash, too. |

I have a trade i can drop right back into if need be. But id prefer not to. Especially in the heat of summer. Hit 100 today. |

Quoted: What have you been doing with the time? Id love to go shoot but no ammo. I want to workout and lose weight. But too lazy. So well see View Quote Doing a lot of work on the TT, and cleaning up the garage. And, whatever else Wodstock finds for me to do around here. I did lose some weight, maybe like 8lbs, which, at least is better than gaining. I've got ammo. Lots of ammo. And components to keep me busy reloading for weeks, maybe months. |

We're going to the NYHTF picnic (Ed Sr is gonna be there, too) on Sat/Sun, then next week we're going up to Chateaugay (the one near canada) for a week of boondocking on her cousin's land again. It's a fairly cheap way to vacation. We're paying $200/mo for the TT, might as well use it. Have 2 more camping trips already paid for in August and September, too, those were booked before I was canceled.

Quoted: Quoted: My dad said it hit like 104 or so on his outdoor weather station today. Kinda odd for this far north. 93 here. Crazy This is the most we've used the AC in the house in like 5 years. Still, that's just a blip in the grand scheme of earth climate. |

Rough gunsmith cost to have a 28" shotgun barrel shortened to 20" or so?

Stressful day was stressful and I'm not getting less stressed I won't start unstressing until I am totally caught up from next week. So sometime in August I should be GTG You said you’re on vaca next week? Yep If it was this week or the week after it wouldn't be so bad. But next week just happens to be the week I am the busiest during the month. I have to make sure all of the invoices for the jobs we did in June are in the system, and then job cost every job so the sales guys can get paid. I have to have all of that done by Monday morning so the next step in the process can be done. SO I have to come home early and try and get all that done on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The wife thinks it will be no big deal. Just to give you an idea of the workload. We took Friday the 3rd off. On Monday, i was processing invoices until 3:30pm. And that was just from ONE day off. YIKES ! Yep. Summer is a horrible time to take vacations. |
