I'm beginning to wonder if F1 is not driving this and not COTA. The track is not producing the revenue it projected and the city of Austin has pulled back money it promised to pay the track. In the build-up to opening the track, they more or less said we don't want NASCAR or it's fan here. That rubbed a bunch of folks the wrong way.

Houston is only 2.5 hours away from the track and DFW is 4 hours or less. There are two cup races at TMS and only 1 F1 race. Cost is the only thing keeping me from going back to F1.
