MWR knew cheating. They were not very good at it. (This cluster was to get MWR driver Martin Truex Jr into the chase.)

Amazing what happens when they have long, green flag runs where teams are forced into different pit strategies instead of getting interrupted by unnecessary staged cautions.

I'll take 50-75 laps of intrigue, wondering how it's going to play out, over two laps of manufactured drama any day.

Eighteen years.
I think the only other sponsor/team to run that long (currently) is Miller and Penske.

Lee is car chief on the 47, somewhat ironic given the suspension. Kanter's road crew on one of the Gibbs xfinity rides. No idea if he's part of any cup crew.

An old family friend is taking his wife to their first Cup race this Sunday at Fontana

Under different circumstances, I’d be there as a technical consultant

but the schedules didn’t work out. From my couch I’ll probably be texting with them during the race... answering questions, giving them real-time updates, etc

I’d like to see their faces when over 300,000 horsepower goes screamin’ by at over 200mph
