Circling back to say fuck Maryland, again. I needed to say it twice.

Ohio, hands down (not that it's that bad, just sucks to drive through). Indiana and Wisconsin are pretty cool states, I enjoy visiting both and love the people.
If we're counting water borders then Illinois is definitely least favorite. Illinois drivers are responsible for probably 90% of my road rage during the summer. They suck! |

Fuck those fucking fucks in the fucking Panhandle. Besides it is easy to forget when all the clowns coming into the state have OHIO tags. When those assholes from Maryland start showing up in the south western part of WV I will hate them too. |

Since I can't really say philly (even though nobody in PA considers them part of the state except for leeching off our taxes) I'm going with NY. Upstate and western NYS are fine, but the assholes who live in NYC metro ruin it for all of you. What say you for your state and your border states? The Soviet Union Illinois by far. It's the land of Communism right here in America, and even in Southern IL where it's quite conservative, there's still something slightly off about half of the residents. It seems that Illinois is the most hated by every state bordering Illinois. Since I lived most of my life in KY and recently moved to MO, do I get to hate them twice? I'll allow it. |

Those folks to the east are politically polar opposites to the folks that surround me and mine. (NWPA). |

Tossup between Massachusetts, New Jersey and Connecticut - they all suck but not as bad as New York. 2 out of the 3 can still have prebans.
|
|
Maryland. Ignorant gun laws, and they back up traffic in VA by driving 60 in the fast lane on I95.
|

Maybe none of our border states are that bad, but New Mexico still sucks harder than KS, NE, WY, UT, AZ, or OK.
It's like Pueblo, if Pueblo were a whole state. |

I live in CO, I don't much mind any of the states that border here.

Illinois.
Drivers are horrible about camping in the left lane and not moving over. |

New Mexico I guess from a political standpoint. Though the part I drove through was a spectacular sight.

Every state that borders the one I live in is better than the one I live in

We're next to Missouri...a state that's still pissed off because we didn't want to own other human beings 150 years ago. Some decent lakes though. Oklahoma needs to fix their shit roads, but they'd have to drag themselves out of the Indian casinos and actually do something for a change. Colorado has too many liberals. I've never even been to Nebraska because it has literally nothing to offer. I like shit-talking threads. View Quote No, it's not about the slavery, it's because you had to put Johnson County right up against us. |

Kansas, of course. Not one redeemable quality in that state. Fuck the Jayhawks.

Face it. If you posted that you don't hate a bordering state then it's your state that's the problem. Illinois and Colorado I'm looking at you. |

Well bordering PA we have a very mixed bag, so here is my itemized list.
New Jersey: The worst, it sucks in its entirety, thankfully it's a longass way away from where I live in the hilly parts of Western Pennsyltucky and I don't have much cause to go there more than once or twice a decade. Oh and to clarify Philly is really more like NJ than PA, so just take the damn place already will ya? New York: 2nd worst, NYC and LI can go to hell and die in a fire, I agree though that Upstate and parts of western NY are nice and there are plenty of fine people that live there, unfortunately they're screwed because they have NYC dictating to the rest of them. NYC might be a decent place to visit if there were no New Yorkers there, it's kinda like LA in that regard. Maryland: I have nothing nice to say about Maryland except that it's quick to get across the western bit to get to Virginia by the route I take, I like VA (outside of parts of NOVA) quite a lot so I'll deal with a half hour or so in MD to get there. If it were any larger or if I had any reason to spend time in the eastern parts of it it'd be in a tie with NY for levels of disdain. Baltimore is a shithole on a par with Mogadishu. Delaware: I usually forget Delaware is even there, so no strong feelings either way, but from the times I've been there I wasn't impressed enough to remember it's there so I guess that says something. West Virginia: A fine, very scenic state with generally good people, I like West Virginia. Ohio: My GF is from Ohio, her family lives out there, I visit it on a regular basis and it's a nice state, with nice people. Cleveland generally sucks, but unless she wants to go to a concert or something when we're out there I don't have to get within 100 miles of the place so it's all good. I like Ohio quite a bit actually. So basically everything to the west and southwest of us is all good, but every other cardinal direction is full of states that are so strange and unusual they may as well be different countries. As for PA having shitty roads, yep we sure do...it builds character. |

There is only one State that borders mine.
It's NH. I was born, raised, worked and raised my family in NH. I love NH. Sooooo....... Does New Brunswick count? |
|
My alma mater requires me have a burning hatred for Alabama and Georgia.
|
|
Fuck Connecticut. Sure, Massachusetts sucks cock by choice, too, but the Ct. Gas tax pissed me off.
|
|
|
New Mexico. I've heard it's nice up north, but the southern half I've seen sucks.
|
|
It's so hard to choose.
Tennessee is a bunch of water thieves. Alabama is.. well.. you know. "Special" South Carolina won't recognize our carry permit. Florida keeps showing up in the news. All ya'll enjoy reading those funny stores about Floridians, but you don't have to live next to him. That just leaves North Carolina. We don't see too many of them up here, which probably means they're hiding something. Edit: I knew there was something wrong with North Carolina. They aren't in the SEC! |

I don't hate states.
A state had never done anything to me. There are people in some I don't particularly care for, but I don't dislike anyone because they are from a particular place. I like having fun with the Hate Texas threads, or Cali threads. I find it extremely funny to see some people actually hate and get butt hurt over people in a state. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Cali-FUCKING-fornia to the west.
New Mexico to the east is just a dump, I can take it or leave it. Though obviously not a state, Mexico to the south. |
|
I don't hate any of them as a whole. I can't stand Atlanta, Memphis or New Orleans though. I seem to have a penchant for getting stuck in traffic in Birmingham and it makes me sad.
