But he's an actual Cowboys fan. He lives in TX and everything.

So...

Actual Cowboys fans don't brag about consistently betting against them and getting paid all the time.

And we all handle the shortcomings of our teams differently.

Everyone knows that betting on what you objectively THINK will happen is for suckers.  The really smart gamblers bet on what they WANT to happen and ALWAYS bet on their team even if they are extremely confident they won’t cover a spread.

Lamar had time to stop for a burger and an oil change on that pass.

The Texans must blitz to get pressure.

I feel for the Ravens O-line when they give him 7+ seconds to throw, he still gets sacked, and a lineman gets credited for giving up a sack.

Texans are blitzing 69% of snaps, there will be some that get through to Jackson but when they over pursue, they get burnt by his wheels or a dump off like the last two plays.

The Ravens are tough to cover all your bases.

I wonder what the record is for the most pre-snap penalties from a team in the first three quarters of a playoff game.

I'm going to call it now.
Game over.

Texans can't get the ball down the field and the Ravens can all while controlling the clock.

And man, all those penalties.
I feel like I'm watching a Cowboys playoff game.

Lack of discipline? Nerves?

There is an entire quarter left, but that feels like game.

The Texans’ offense likely needs two 4th quarter TDs when they have zero in the first three quarters.

If not anything else, this young Texans team got a fuck ton of playoff experience in their 1st year.

I think they may be a problem over the next couple years

Why did they make the Ravens burn a timeout for an injured player when there is 13:50 left in the 4th?

No idea.

I've commented on John Harbaugh's odd time management a few times before.

I think when a play is about to start, a player can’t just sit down injured like they do between plays.
And he was hurt enough to not be able to cover WR.
Just my thought.

Welp.

The Texans can take comfort in the fact that they have more playoff wins in 22 years than the Cowboys have in 27 years.

I see that happen pretty much every week with no forced timeout (unless it’s in the last few minutes of the 4th).

Maybe they changed the rules for the postseason?

umm this Cowboys fan drinks.   Whenever they underperform against a good team or overlook a shit team, I'm drinking a lot of scotch.

Honestly, I need HK to mentor me in sports betting. I might feel better about the season if I'm up some cash, even if the fucking cowboys cowboy things up again.

Despite the loss still a great season for the Texans.

In 2022 they went 3-13-1

In 2023 they went 10-7, won their division, and got to the divisional round in the playoffs.

And it looks like they found a super promising franchise QB and a good head coach.

Ray Lewis, at the very least, intentionally destroyed evidence of a murder.  At worst, he participated in a murder.

And yet the media acts like he’s the defensive version of a post-career Peyton Manning.

Did they randomly mention that CJ Stroud’s father is in prison after pleading guilty to multiple violent felonies like they did for pretty much every Texans game I watched this season?

I had 99% of the game on mute.
