Steve Holt, Iowa House of Representatives District 18 We just heard that a group of healthcare workers that were scheduled for termination at 5pm today were just told they are now on paid leave as the new law is “evaluated.” We are also told that a major healthcare facility is currently changing all exemption requests to “approved” as the result of the law we passed yesterday that requires employers in Iowa to approve all religious and medical exemption requests. <3 You guys probably get tired of me loving on Iowa, but coming from the Peoples Republik of Illinoi-istan I just get so happy and excited when I see stuff like this.
