Quoted: Only 5 cups? I was at more like 5 POTS. May as well have hung a caffeine IV. View Quote She asked me what I did and had no idea of what a Master Chief was or what it takes to make MC in 22 years. She was impressed about my 7x24 recall in my cushy civilian job too. I have cut down with intent and feel a wee bit “whipped” the last couple days. But I am sleeping better and haven’t had a run-away heart event. I was having them about every 45 days so very low end of the spectrum from what the doctor told me. My normal medical provider dismissed the Apple iWatch data so when I went to my cardiologist I wasn’t prepared and she was 100% in to looking at the data. She said sometimes there’s false judgements but she could look at the data and if clear, she could make a judgement on afib. Something I read said 1-out-of-50 by age 60 and 1-out-of-10 by age 65 American men. |

Quoted: I went through a near-miss from a Cat 4 Cyclone living in Australia about 15 feet above sea level in Exmouth, WA, Australia. The military homes were build like bunkers. Solid 8” thick poured concrete ceilings, the windows had fold down steel shutters that would close and lock in place. The police were vicious on idiots leaving any thing outside. The local town was >2800 people and had about 40 Australian “FBI” federal police there to protect the USN communication station. View Quote Fascinating. |

Quoted:Yeah, we get quite a few here. I got storm shelter a few years ago. View Quote That would be 100% comforting. As long as you can shit post and still get OPLive. We actually considered a home in Washington state to retire in due to the bunker, shooting range in an underground drain pipe, and “something” behind a big ole’ vault door. Beautiful home, nice looking area, There unfortunately wasn’t enough land around the home. It was like 2-acre lots next to a cluster of small suburb apartments. The shooting range was 50 feet long with a wire pulley system to retrieve the target. There was an AC vent on the far end to vent the lead fumes out. |

Quoted: I dont drink coffee at all. Never acquired the taste. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: yikes. In my 20s, I'd drink a 6 pack of 20oz bottles of Ale-8-1 every day. Today, I'm lucky to have 2 or 3 bottles a year. Coffee? 1 cup in the a.m. 2-3 cups of tea at work before lunch. I dont drink coffee at all. Never acquired the taste. Me either. Never even cared for the smell of the stuff. That's probably the only vice I didn't pick up at some point in my younger days though... |
