Just saw, while watching the Bengals-Steelers game, a promo that SEAL Team season 6 is starting up next Sunday and didn't see an OFFICIAL thread so figured I'd plant the flag now.

In my AO, You have to pay extra to watch. I really liked the show, but not enough to pay for a whole channel that has nothing else on it worth a damn.
|
|
It is on Paramount Plus now so does that mean there are no commercials?

I like the show but I cannot understand how a warrant officer is 2IC to a Master Chief. Is this just creative license?
I did notice the language got salty when Paramount picked it up |

When I saw the shape of that leg, I knew it was going to have to get amputated. |

I watched every episode as it aired from the beginning. The last episode I saw was the last one before it went to Paramount Plus.
It was one of my favorite shows, but I’m not buying a whole other channel to watch it. |
|
Favorite show on TV. I buy my mom a year of CBS All Access every year for Christmas and this is a nice perk of that.
Watching now. |

Haven't watched it yet, but I saw that they updated their weapons to what DEVGRU uses now.

Just finished up the new episode. In the past I've not been as big a fan of the episodes that have been heavy on the home front drama, and this is one of those episodes, but I think in this one it's been done well; dealing with impactful subject matter and the writing is actually helping move the team story along.
The ball busting one leg jokes from Sonny were pretty good. Good, solid episode overall. |

It was a decent episode.
BTW - I am getting ads when I watch it. |

Is this the show with cia lady/romantic interest who looks like a Hollywood Coker?

That's pretty amazing. I will say, if there's one big silver lining to the last 20 years of GWOT, it's the medical advances it's helped spur treating the wounded. |
|
Good show, but I was really hoping to see them go up against a Russian Alpha group at some point.
They had that one episode where they were inside China to grab something the Russians were also looking to grab and I really thought that was a glimpse of a future conflict where maybe the SEALs would come into continued conflict with the Russians in places like Syria and elsewhere culminating into a chess game and big show down. Let's give the SEALs a new antagonist and change up the GWOT theme a bit. |

The show does make an effort to stay in line with current events, like the references to the Afghanistan retreat last season. |

Decent episode. I'll wait for y'all to catch up.
Nice to see attention brought to different factions |

Quoted: Decent episode. I'll wait for y'all to catch up. Nice to see attention brought to different factions View Quote Agreed. Did a good job setting the stage for this mission's story arc. That said, the cynical side of me just can't help but think the addition of this specific indigenous group was a conscious "gurl power" move by the show execs rather than just natural story telling. But, hey, maybe I'm just too jaded. |

Eta, and even if theydid do gurl power, they've been fair about it, and we did have Davis mercing dudes a couple seasons ago. The gurl power is not as bad as some of the family drama so I'll give it a pass.. this time |
