Something to note here in Fairfax Co. I am in western Fairfax co which is more conservative than the eastern side. But still very lib.
The young republicans did a great job of helping out. I had a very attractive college age woman come to my door a couple days ago campaigning for Youngkin. Yesterday afternoon I had another very attractive woman come to the door for Youngkin. Both with a happy and sweet demeanor. That is proven marketing for men and women alike. Then I also received a phone call from the young republicans yesterday afternoon. It was a male and he also had a pleasant demeanor, spoke in a way that was immediately disarming from my normal defensiveness from so many damn telemarketer calls. All three were energizing in their response to me saying Youngkin already has my vote. It was great to see/hear so much effort from the young republicans. I did not get a single dem at my door or on the phone. To see the college age crowd pushing the right way is great. |

how the f* can new jersey be stopped at 84% with a 65 vote difference between clattarelli and murphy?
 edit - also, there were several other house seats that the election night coverage I was listening to, had thought would go to the republicans, as they had big leads over the dem candidate... much like the lead youngkin had vs mcauliffe, their leads disappeared also, so several that were forecast to win, ended up losing... it'll be interesting to graph how the vote changed for those house elections, if the data is available |

You guys are incredibly lucky that the whole CRT thing blew up in the dems faces. The magic bullet was when fast terry told Virginians that parents don't have a say with their kids education. They won't make that mistake again.
It basically took that level of insanity(among everything else) to drain the sludge from voters brains not to vote Democrat. I pray it sticks. Be prepared for democrats to punish you for years to come for this. |

To those gloating that they were correct about “cheating”, don’t become complacent. Over 90% of the polls had R poll watchers. It may be true that cheating isn’t as wide spread as some think, or (my belief) it may that with allegations of cheating so fresh in everyone’s minds AND 90+% of the polls being watched, they weren’t able to go all in with the steal.
Today, we celebrate Virginia showing the rest of the States how it’s done! |

You either have to respond in kind or swamp the vote. Thing was many members here got way too invested in the cheating narrative to the point of actively trying suppress right-leaning turnout even if they were unaware that they were doing it. Thank goodness they were beat back by folks with more common sense that had moved-on and worked towards victory. I suspect as their own states start their run-up to the mid-terms the election doomers will leave their cheating narrative pushcart on the side of the road and work for the win.  |
