So, I found a thing in my garage. No idea where it came from.
 Attached FileReally weird. Asked son and wife. Figured maybe it fell off a truck and they picked it up. Nope. What's really strange, is not 2 days ago, I asked a coworker if the guys building his metal building , had suggested lightning rods . This is really weird and has me perplexed as to where this came from. It was not there 2 days ago and I've never seen it before. |

I'm going to assume OP was talking about the long metal rod in the center of the picture.
Clearly the friend you had asked about lightning rods had one left over and left it in your garage to fuck with you. Your family is either unaware or in on it too. |

That long pole looks more like a whip antenna than a lightning rod. All the ones on my farm were like a foot tall tops.
