Yup, I regularly laugh at the Texans who stupidly think that Texas is red or it is a bastion of freedom, or the utterly laughable concept that it is America when we in OK are better Americans than those shitlords in every category possible.

We are even fatter.

Locusts.

All locusts. They vote the same way that they did to absolutely fucking ruin the states they're running away from.

They will ruin their new states too.

Texas will be hard blue either the next election or the one after that.

Then civil war... Hopefully.
Cruz barely won...

As I posted above, Cruz barely ran a campaign and was outspent 2 to 1.  Yet they still did not win.  Any other state and the Dem would have crushed the Rep.

Texas is good for a while.

In 15 years, Texas will be worse off then California.

Texas will have all of California's problems, along with a larger border with Mexico.

Seems crazy now but look at what California looked like in the 1950's compared to today.

Things change faster now it won't take that long.

My Dad is a retired Police Chief of a small agency about thirty minutes north of the MA border. In the 20+ years he was Chief the population has doubled in size.

Most of those transplants are from MA.

@CarmelBytheSea

1 million out of California.

200,000 of that to Texas, according to the graphs you posted.

If it’s 1 million to Texas that’s only 4% of their total population.

If it’s 200,000 (like the graphs you posted show) that’s a mere 3/4% of the total population.

Either way, I’m not sure how that few of people, out of the overall population, have such a negative impact on Texas that’s harped on here.

Within the last couple of weeks, (2) families that I am friends with have announced that they are leaving Cali. (1) is heading to Indiana, the other to Idaho.

Both are getting away from the leftist policies (school indoctrination, taxes, high col, etc...) (1) is also very pro-2A. All good, conservative church-going folks.

Congrats to them & to those (2) states for getting a little moar red...

I was surprised when watching the Lynchburg council meeting the other night to see multiple people stand up and say they had recently moved from CA to VA to escape tyranny, and all spoke out very strongly in favor of the 2nd Amendment. That was nice to see.

As soon as they started with "I just moved here from CA" I was like aww shit, here we go, and ended up pleasantly surprised.

IMHO, it's not a given that the majority of Californians moving to Texas are lefties. It may well be that they're conservatives who've finally had enough, and figured Texas was likely to be more their speed.

Example: Exit polling data found that Ted Cruz got a larger share of the vote from non-native Texans than he did from native Texans. That's...odd. Anyway, it suggests to me that Texas may well be attractive to conservatives, while liberals loathe the idea of moving here for the exact same reasons.

If it’s 1 million. How does less than 4% of Texas’ total population of 28 million fuck it up?

If it’s 200,000, like the graphs show, it’s only 3/4% of the total population in Texas.

Are you saying Californicators are alpha dominantors and Texans are cuckolds?

Pretty sure that’s what you’re saying.

The 2 different articles cover different time periods.
But with some some concrete data now, it’s easier to understand what’s actually been happening to Texas but Texas has been among the top most moved to states for the last 20 years and people previously living in California aren’t the only ones moving there since just under 9 million other people minus immigrants, births, etc. have too Attachment Attached File
