1 bag each.

They have been sitting on the floor of my garage the last three days.
No one around here is short of food, I just don't want to go to the grocery store for a while (Wuhan Flu vector)
I was already pretty stocked up, but wanted to top things off.

I have a family of four.  Going to take a while to eat through them.  Ideas?

Store was the local Cash and Carry
each bag was less than $15.
I also got a 25 pounds of ground beef, a25 pound bag of long grain brown  rice, 5 pound bag of jalapenos, 5 pound bag of little sweet peppers.

We freeze some and share the rest with our neighbors.

You should see the shit they're sending over during the Kung Flu apocalypse.

When they start growing "ears", cut them into pieces and plant them.  Then you'll have more after the harvest.

Maybe give some to friends neighbors and family? I keep an eye out for my next door neighbors house and she keeps an eye on my house. She dates a friend of mine so I kind of feel obligated to help her out. I told her today to let me know if she runs out of liquor and I'd give her some of mine.

I have never seen a 50 pound bag of potatoes or onions sold in retail grocery stores .

That is mostly food service deliveries .

Take them out back and rub dirt on them; then sell at the Farmer’s Market for twice what you paid for them.

A few days ago while wandering around in my GF's kitchen I discovered the 'potato' button on the microwave.

Since then I've greatly enjoyed making five thousand calorie potatoes (butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon etc)

Yup.

Local grocery stores were out of potatoes and onions.

The local store that caters to small businesses had them on 50 pound bags.  Cheap.

Put a couple of teaspoons of butter in a skillet.  Heat skillet.  Slice onions and caramelize onions in skillet.  Slice up potatoes, put potatoes in skillet.  Add more butter.  Fry up potatoes.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.  Eat deliciousness.

I'm surprised they sold them to you. Most of the food wholesalers only deal with the food service industry .

Actually, that's a good idea.
Use a mandolin to thin slice them and then make a bunch of homemade potato chips - I do it all the time!

Make Vodka, granted you wont get much.
