Years ago XCRmonger posted the amount of weld time it tool to complete one of their M96s. It was insane. I assume a true Stoner 63 clone would require a similar amount of welding time.

There's no way to make it and sell it for $1000 maybe $2500 would turn a slim profit but probably not enough to make it worthwhile.

Once they can start keeping other stuff in stock, sure. Till then they need to concentrate on increasing production in those areas instead of starting another new product that will never be in stock.
