Well I'm happy that I got a $.74 raise today because of the tax reform.

My recent trip up to MN, every factory I passed had a help wanted sign for production workers $17-$20/hr as starting pay. Our techs don't make that kind of money. If factories can pay unskilled labor that kind of cash, the economy is coming back in a big way.

In her opinion they are doing it wrong.
Just using hypothetical numbers, say an employer is seeing a $4,000 tax break per employee. They decide to give the employee a $1,000 bonus (that gets taxed at 35%). That is wrong "pathetic crumbs" according to her. According to her, that greedy employer should be paying that $4,000 in taxes to the government who can then break it down as follows. $2,500 in administrative costs $1,000 to illegal aliens, welfare folks and other non workers $750 to foreign governments and the UN $100 to the working, taxpaying employee (that will be taxed at 35%) Yes, I know that adds up to more then $4,000, they will just add that to the budget deficit. |
